The heart of this new design is the unique 4-point bearing. The 4Point from other tonearms by introducing several new and unique features. The new zero-play bearing is configured on 4 points. The 4POINT tonearm has an effective length of 280mm (11-inch), a very precise VTA adjustment facility and fits Kuzma's standard mount with a 212mm pivot-to-spindle distance. Two points (which are similar to a uni-pivot bearing) allow and control vertical movements of the tonearm. The other set of two pointed bearings allow and control horizontal (lateral) movements of the tonearm. All four points of the bearing have minimal friction and zero-play in all planes of movement, thus ensuring that the cartridge platform and the cartridge itself follow the grooves of an LP with extremely low friction and minimal vibrations.

An incredibly powerful amplifier from Krell. So much so that it uses a 20 Amp power cord AND industrial type breaker for a power switch to match its internal 5000 VA power supply.

Contains balanced, single ended, and proprietary Krell CAST type connectors for input, and includes wing-nut type speaker posts for the outputs.

Provides an incredible 400W into 8 Ohms and 1600W into 2 Ohms. Highly biased into Class A to give a warmer and richer tonal balance compared to earlier Krells.

The Kronos Sparta is a revolutionary design with a patented dual counter-rotating platter system on a suspended chassis. The Leben RS-28CX tube preamplifier is equipped with the CR type equalizer based on GE(General Electric/USA) 12AT7 authorized by J.A.N.(Joint Army & Navy) standard of US Army, and can reproduce a very high quality and clear sound without adding any NFB.

To avoid compromising on sound quality ,one of the solutions we adapted to totally protect the sensitive CR type equalizer from negative effects was to develop a separate power supply unit.
Likewise, some of the finest available high-end audio components were selected for the RS28C to keep the deflection of the RIAA curve below +/-0.3%.

Of course, the phono equalizer is only one of the strengths of the RS28C. Another notable feature is a very strong output voltage created by the Dual-Triode Tube 6CG7 of General Electric(USA) used for the line stage. Leben further selected the best quality tubes out of these and constructed a powerful SRPP type amplification which can supply power amplifiers with a maximum 80V of clean output signal.
In considering the fact that output voltage of a standard preamplifier is more or less 40V, the RS28C can output about two times as much voltage, which will drive power amplifiers with very low input sensitivity.

This is one of the iconic tube preamplifiers from Japan, and highly sought after. Seldom seen on the 2nd hand market.
